Rules & EventsFriday 6:00 Registration to begin @ Pioneer Hall, on Main Street in Dupree, SD 7:30 Rules Meeting and Calcutta at least one member of each team must be present Saturday Weigh in time: Saturday, Feb 7th 7:00 MST At least one team member must be present @ rules meeting Rules1) No Artificial Light2) No Snowmobiles3) Anyone after 7:00 will be disqualified4) No Shotguns5) No Frozen, Trapped or Snared animals6) All Predators must be shot the day of the contestPrizes will be awarded by total predators taken; ties will be broken by total weight of All Coyotes, Foxes and or Bobcats Big Dog and Little Dog will be determined by weight of Coyotes only; ties will be broken by check in time, earliest check in time will win tie You may hunt anywhere you wish but you must be at the rules meeting and you must make it to check in on time or be disqualified.

Official Rules and Regulations
· Teams will consist of 2 people and they must hunt together at all times
· All State hunting regulations must be obeyed on Private, State or Federal Land
· All Tribal hunting regulations must be obeyed on Tribal Land
· All team must have permission to hunt from land operators
· Any game violations will result in immediate disqualification
· A licensed adult above the age of 18 must accompany any hunter under the age of 18
· All animals must be harvested on the day of contest during legal shooting hours ½ hour before sunrise and ½ hour after sunset
· Giving, Exchanging, and-or Accepting animals from hunters not on the 2 man team will result in immediate forfeiture of entry fees
· No Trapped, Snared, Frozen Coyotes will be accepted
· Any coyotes killed with a Shot-Gun will be disqualified
· NO SNOWMOBILES or AIRCRAFT of any kind
· ATVs are for transportation to and from stands only. Anyone caught using an ATV to run down coyotes will forfeit all fees and will be disqualified.
· Running down animals with any motorized vehicle is prohibited
· Each team will be given 7 Mouth Tags; all animals must be tagged as soon as they are taken, & the time of the kill must be written on the tag.
· Number of Dogs will determine winner of Overall contest, ties will be broken by total weight
· Weight will determine BIG DOG – LITTLE DOG winners, 1st team to check in will break ties
· Weigh in time is 7:30 Mountain Time; any team that checks in Animals after this time will be disqualified.
· Judges will be on hand to handle weigh in; Judges will enforce all rules and regulations;
