I know it sounds like I'm pimping magazines this month, but I feel it's my duty to put you guys onto stuff you might not normally read if you didn't know it existed. Predator Xtreme is a very informative magazine for many reasons, they spend a lot of time working on different kinds of hunts that callers can do, along with tips from pros like Mike Schoby, Mark Kayser, and of course the man that seems to be in charge Ed Park. I get this magazine about 5 times / year as it's not a monthly production. In December's magazine that I've had for about 2 weeks now, they discuss a lot of the same topics we discuss here. How to call Coyotes, but they go into detail with the 2nd in a 3 part series on how a coyote's eye works and what they really see when they are approaching. This will give you great insight into what kind of camo works best for calling the Wiley Ones. It also has more than one writing on Calling Contests, the popularity and the cheating that goes on. I seems the problems we have here in SoDak country are the same across the country, to a point that many contests are using lie detector tests for their winners. I'm not sure how much this will cost someone but I bet it doesn't stop all the strange results we see at times. Again, I'm not pimping the magazine, but if you get a chance pick up a December copy, you won't be dissapointed.

Oh well back to wrapping presents.
