Check this out, I was going along the creek looking for bobcat sign when I came across three of these critters. Gus having tangled with porcupines before, stayed far enough away but was still pretty aggressive towards the little thorny guys. After wiping them out I found the perfect spot for a bobcat set, but I need to get some stuff ready before I set up. The weather has really turned here and the constant melting and freezing is hard on tracking and getting around. Only 3 more days and we will be off to the Black Hills to try and call a cougar.
