This year Dog Days was down in numbers but not in results. I missed out on the hunting and I don't have all the dollar amounts, but there were 33 teams, many of whom saw large numbers of coyotes. As always quite a few got away, but a good time was had by all.

Here's how it went:

1st Place: Tony Russell and Lorrin Lafferty - 8 Coyotes

2nd Place: Rocky Longbrake and Terry Russell - 6 Coyotes

3rd Place: Dakota Longbrake and Lonnie Lesmeister - 6 Coyotes

4th Place: Bob Stalley and Austin Early - 4 Coyotes

Big Dog: Bob Staley and Austin Early - 37lbs

Little Dog: Dakota Longbrake and Lonnie Lesmeister - 20.14lbs

There was one more team that had 4 coyotes and many teams with 2 or 3 coyotes. Jesse Brewer & The Dupree AAU put on another quality event. I was sick that I didn't hunt this year but Chief & Mark teamed up. I hope that Chief will have a story for the website in a day or so.
