That's what the old ones say, on days when you see an eagle it will be a good day.  Mother nature has blessed us recently with much needed moisture, and the last 2 days while I was riding through the calving pasture I have seen two different Bald Eagles, up close and personal.  I have been riding my cow herd for a little over a week now and it's amazing how much closer you get to the wildlife, don't get me wrong I do this every spring and every spring I am amazed.  I was no more than 20 yards from these eagles and they didn't care.  We are great outdoorsmen, hunting out of pickup windows and off of 4-wheelers, but mother nature runs and hides.  If you get a chance make sure to walk more or better yet get yourself a horse.
