Here  are pictures  of the Lantry  Dam, I hope  you will enjoy  the  site. This  dam  used to be   a  "hot  spot"  in the  state  for  fishing,,,People  used  to  come from  MN,  ND, and all  over  SD  to  fish  this  dam.  On Memorial  Day weekend,  it used to look like a little  city..  10  years  of   drought  slowly  dried it  away,, and last  winter  was  the last  blow.. There wasn't  enough ice out there for  a  skating  rink!

It is  surprising  that  it  filled up,  to over flowing  in one  week of  rain..

Now  we need  fish !!  And  it  will be  years again before it is  good  fishing  right in my  back  yard.
